FamPay Old Number Lost and Aadhaar Verification Error

I am a student and I am facing a serious problem accessing my FamPay account on my Android phone. A few years ago, I created a FamPay account using my old mobile number, which was also linked with my Aadhaar. I have lost the SIM for that old number and no longer have any access to it, so I am unable to log in to my existing FamPay account. Recently, on 05.07.2026, I purchased a new SIM card and now use my new mobile number as my only active number. When I try to log in to FamPay, I am stuck because the account is still linked to my old mobile number that I cannot use anymore. In addition, when I try to proceed with Aadhaar verification, I receive an error on the FamPay app screen saying “This Aadhaar number cannot be used,” which completely blocks me from accessing or updating my account. Because of this, I am currently unable to use my FamPay account at all, even though I need it for my studies and daily expenses. I live in Mumbai, Maharashtra, and I am ready to share any necessary documents or confirmations (such as Aadhaar, ID proof or SIM ownership proof) to verify my identity and prove that I am the genuine owner of this FamPay account. I kindly request FamPay to urgently help me regain access by either changing the mobile number linked to my FamPay account from my old inactive number to my new active number, or by providing me with a clear and simple alternative process to verify my identity and update my number. I also request clear written guidance on the exact steps I should follow so that I can securely access and use my FamPay account again.
