I booked a flight from JFK to Amsterdam through Expedia for 20 April and only found out at the airport that my baggage was not included in the reservation. At no point during the booking process or in the confirmation email was it clearly stated that checked bags were not part of the reservation, and I did not receive any information or warning about this. Because of this, I faced unexpected stress at the airport and had to pay a high amount for my baggage. I live in Seattle and have been trying to resolve this issue for about two months. I contacted Expedia customer service and was told that they would get back to me regarding the missing baggage in my reservation, but nobody has called or provided any update so far. In addition, I called Expedia customer service several times on 1-888-620-4018, but no one answered. I also tried the Expedia phone number 1-888-620-1759, and the responses I received about this issue were not helpful or appropriate. Due to the lack of clear information about baggage, the extra amount I had to pay at the airport, and the inadequate support and follow-up from customer service, I am requesting appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and additional expenses caused by this situation. I expect Expedia to review my reservation details and communication history and to offer a fair solution as soon as possible.
