Electrolux LNT7ME46Q2 Fridge Loud Noise - Stopped Cooling After Warranty Delay
On 30.10.2022, I purchased an Electrolux LNT7ME46Q2 refrigerator on an installment plan for ₺19,000. My product’s invoice/service reference number is EA22022000000116. Approximately two and a half years after the purchase, the refrigerator started to produce excessively loud and disturbing noises, which became particularly severe in the last six months. During this period, I requested service three times, and authorized service teams came to my home in July, September and November 2025. An unnecessary part replacement was carried out, but the issue was not resolved, and each time I was told that the problem would be “taken care of,” which only led to delays. In the last six months, the refrigerator malfunctioned several times while it was still under warranty, but despite my repeated calls and requests, no effective solution was provided and I was constantly stalled. Shortly after the warranty period expired, the refrigerator completely stopped cooling. When I requested service again on 30.11.2025, I was informed that my warranty had expired. The technicians examined the product, referred to it as “scrap,” and stated that they could not help me. I have been seriously aggrieved both by the failure of a refrigerator that I purchased for ₺19,000 in such a short period of time, and by the lack of any real support despite the problem clearly arising and continuing during the warranty period. My refrigerator is now unusable, and all the food inside has spoiled. It is clear that the product is defective and that the problem started while it was still under warranty, so I do not accept being left without support on the grounds that the warranty has just expired. I request that Electrolux repair my refrigerator free of charge or, considering the defective nature of the product, either replace it with a new appliance or refund the amount I paid. If my grievance is not resolved, I will apply to the Consumer Arbitration Board and exercise all my legal rights regarding this matter.
