Dramawave Unauthorized Recurring Charges Of £118.40 After Weekly Subscription
Some time ago I purchased a one‑week subscription to Dramawave through the app. I understood this to be a single, time‑limited purchase and did not agree to any ongoing or recurring payments beyond that initial week. On 12 August I authorised and paid £11.10 for this one‑week subscription. However, after that date I have been repeatedly charged without my knowledge or authorisation up to 6 October. I only realised a few days ago when a new charge appeared via my HSBC notification. In total, £118.40 has been taken in repeated charges in addition to the original, authorised £11.10 payment. I have not been given any clear information on the app about these charges and I cannot see where or how this recurring billing has been set up. I have tried to contact Dramawave but there is no effective way to reach customer service. Any attempt to get support or send feedback simply redirects me back into the app, which does not explain the charges or provide a way to stop them or request a refund. I request that all unauthorised recurring payments taken after the initial payment on 12 August and up to 6 October be fully refunded, that my account be ensured not to incur any further charges, and that I receive a clear explanation of how these recurring payments were initiated without my explicit consent.
