I Regret Subscribing to Disney+—Unbearable Amount of Ads Ruined My Viewing
Hello, I subscribed to Disney+ on May 4, 2025, and I already regret it. Yes, I understand that it’s labeled as an ad-supported plan—but I never expected the ads to be this overwhelming.
Watching a movie has become frustrating. There are multiple ad breaks, each lasting at least 2 minutes or more, and sometimes they appear even when I try to skip forward. It’s truly absurd that I’m paying a subscription fee just to be bombarded with ads at every turn.
I’ve watched content on free streaming sites for years and have never experienced such aggressive advertising. This is the first time I’ve felt compelled to write a complaint like this. I couldn’t even enjoy the film properly because the frequent interruptions made me forget where I was in the plot.
In the end, I closed my account despite having paid, and I will never subscribe again. This was my first and last time using Disney+. I won’t recommend it to anyone. It’s a real letdown from a platform I once respected.
