I Never Signed Up for a Subscription but Clarity Check Charged Me Again
On the Clarity Check website, I made a one-time phone number inquiry, and the screen clearly displayed a fee of approximately $1 for this transaction. On the same day, approximately $1 was charged from my credit card, and I knowingly approved that payment. However, when I checked my credit card statement on April 18, 2026, I discovered that the same website had withdrawn an additional approximately $36 from my card without my knowledge or approval.
I never started any subscription, recurring payment plan, or additional package purchase. I only wanted to perform a single inquiry, so I absolutely do not accept such a large additional charge being taken afterward.
I request that the approximately $36 withdrawn from my card by Clarity Check without my permission be refunded immediately. I also demand that any possible membership or account associated with my name be completely closed and that no further charges ever be made from my card again.
