Carl’s Jr. Cevahir Mall Caused Acute Food Poisoning and $96 Emergency ER Expense
On Friday, July 3, at around 7:00 PM, I consumed a meal combo consisting of a hamburger, fries, and iced tea at the Carl’s Jr. branch in the Şişli Cevahir Mall. Shortly after finishing my meal, I became severely ill with acute food poisoning. I was unable to recover for roughly 4 days, suffering through a agonizing ordeal that severely disrupted both my daily life and work routine.
As my condition worsened, I was forced to seek emergency medical care, where I received IV serum therapy and incurred an out-of-pocket hospital expense of $96. This situation caused me severe distress, both physically and financially. I have not yet made direct contact with Carl's Jr. management regarding this incident.
I expect a formal apology from Carl’s Jr. for this appalling experience. Furthermore, I demand full reimbursement for the $96 in emergency medical expenses I paid, as well as a thorough, official hygiene and food safety audit of the branch in question.
