I Paid $203 for Camper Sandals That Stretched Out and Kept Slipping Off
About two months ago, during the Kurban Bayramı (Eid al-Adha) holiday period, I bought a pair of Camper sandals from the Camper store in Fethiye, Muğla. During the purchase, I tried on both size 38 and size 39. Size 38 actually fit my foot, but the store associate directed me to get size 39, and trusting their guidance, I chose size 39 instead. If I had been clearly told at that moment that this model would stretch over time, I would definitely have gotten size 38.
Even though I wore the sandals normally in everyday use, the straps stretched significantly. Because of this stretching, the sandals became too big for my foot and started slipping off while walking. In other words, the product stopped being comfortable and safe to use within a short time.
I paid $203 for this product, and when I paid this amount, I believed I was investing in a quality Camper sandal that I could use comfortably for a long time without issues. However, after experiencing this problem and sending the product in for inspection, I only received a response via WhatsApp saying "rejected," with no explanation or proposed solution offered at all. This approach both disappointed me and shook my trust in the brand.
What I expect from a brand known for its quality like Camper is that it doesn't leave its customers stuck like this, and that it takes a more solution-oriented approach to situations like mine. Taking into account that the size was chosen based on staff guidance and that the stretching problem occurred within a short time, I kindly ask that the product be reevaluated, that a size exchange be made if possible, or that another suitable solution be offered.
