Bosch Wasted My Day Off After Failing to Send a Technician for Washing Machine Repair
On December 2, 2024, I called the customer service at 444 6 333 to report that my Bosch washing machine had a problem and to request service. Customer service informed me that a technician would visit on December 3, 2024, to repair the device and that I would be contacted on the same day. Following this, I took a day off from work and waited at home throughout the day. At approximately 2:00 PM, I called customer service again to inquire whether the technician would be coming. Customer service assured me that the technician would definitely come that day and would contact me. Trusting this information, I continued to wait. At around 7:00 PM, I called again to report that the technician had not yet arrived. Customer service responded by informing me that the technician would arrive by 8:00 PM. However, at 7:30 PM, the technician called and informed me that they could not make it and that I would be contacted the following day. On December 4, 2024, I informed customer service that I would not be able to take another day off but would be available at home at 7:00 PM. The service representative assured me that assistance would be provided. However, when I called again that morning, I was informed that the technician would not be able to come in the evening. Finally, I called customer service again, and the representatives explained that they could not provide a specific time for the appointment and would not be able to assist me further. In a situation where I had to take time off from work and wait at home to receive a service, encountering such a lack of planning and communication is unacceptable. I believe that service should be provided in a planned, organized, and timely manner. If the technician does not arrive again, how can I trust that the service will be completed? Am I expected to take time off from work every day for an entire week? I request that the inconvenience I have experienced be addressed, and I ask for the necessary steps to be taken to prevent this situation from occurring again.
