Bosch Refrigerator Freezes Food and Fails Before One Year

I have been experiencing problems with my Bosch KGN series refrigerator, which I purchased in October 2024, from the very first day. The original unit was replaced because it was extremely noisy, but the replacement refrigerator I am currently using continues to have serious issues.

Even though it has not been a full year yet, the refrigerator compartment freezes everything inside, while the freezer compartment does not freeze properly or perform at full capacity. An authorized service technician visited, placed a thermometer inside the unit, took measurements, and stated in the service report that a control board replacement was recommended. I clearly stated that I do not accept repairs on a refrigerator that is less than one year old, that I believe this is a manufacturing defect, and that I am requesting a product replacement. Despite this, I was told that the issue might be related to environmental conditions and that replacing the control board would solve the problem.

I paid approximately $1,700 for this refrigerator and expected it to work without problems for at least five years. I cannot accept experiencing a control board failure before even one year has passed and being told that it should simply be repaired. After the earlier noise issue, now everything I place in both the upper and lower compartments freezes, while the freezer still does not perform properly. In addition, the refrigerator gives an alarm at regular intervals (about every six hours). Even though the doors remain closed and are not opened for long periods, the alarm continues to sound, which clearly indicates a serious malfunction.

Because of this situation, I have been seriously inconvenienced and cannot use the refrigerator properly. I am also concerned that the appliance’s energy consumption has increased. All of my home appliances are Bosch products, and I chose the brand specifically for its reputation for reliability. However, the ongoing issues with this unit and the insistence on repair instead of offering a proper solution have severely shaken my trust in the brand.

As a result, I am requesting that my refrigerator be replaced with a different Bosch refrigerator model that is not from the same series, and I expect Bosch headquarters to take my situation into consideration and provide a permanent and fair solution.

My refrigerator's cooling compartment is freezing, and even though the freezer compartment's freezing function continues, it was not enough. As of yesterday evening, it no longer freezes at all; all the food in the lower compartment has spoiled and is ruined. I have been suffering for 10 days. The company is not convinced and wants a card replacement. A one‑year‑old fridge's card is not replaced. My dishwasher is 10 years old and its card hasn't been changed. The Sindi on the lower floor is completely broken; I think they won't suggest changing its card either. After the water shortage, my machine should be replaced and my grievance resolved, please. I can't even calculate the electricity cost for Harcana.
