Financial Fraud By BetterMe App
I purchased a 3-month subscription to the BetterMe: Health Coaching app through the BetterMe website in January while in India. Although I never actually used the service, I made sure to cancel the subscription on March 28 through the website to prevent it from renewing.
However, on March 30, I was still charged despite having already canceled my subscription. This charge was unexpected and unauthorized, as I had taken the necessary steps to cancel before the renewal date.
After noticing the charge, I contacted BetterMe customer support via email. They responded by stating that they could not issue a refund and instead offered alternative “offers,” which I find completely unacceptable, as my clear request is to avoid being charged after cancellation.
I request a full refund of the charge made on March 30. This situation constitutes an unauthorized charge and reflects unfair billing practices, especially since many other customers appear to have faced similar issues.
Hello, Shubham! Thank you for sharing your complaint. Your request has been reviewed and addressed. Please check your email inbox. If you have any further questions or requests, we are here to help you. Sincerely, BetterMe Team
Thank you for initiating the refund.
