If your Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) flight was late and you weren't given any money, you may be able to file a claim if certain conditions are met.
Under EU Regulation EC 261/2004, if the delay was more than three hours for a flight leaving or landing at an EU airport, you could get money.
Payment runs from €250 to €600, depending on how far the flight was. Get your booking number, flight number, and information about the delay together, then call or email AZAL's customer service at +994 (12) 598 88 80 to make your claim.
Send a written claim explaining the delay and asking for money. For help, visit AZAL's website or call +994 70 4374082 on WhatsApp.
AZAL has two months to react to your claim. If they don't, consider filing a complaint on Xolvie to raise awareness about the issue and inform others.
