My Baby Refused Aptamil Formula Number 2 Due to Strong Smell and Iron Taste

Our kid is five months old now. When my wife's milk supply started to go down, the pharmacy told us to switch to Aptamil formula. We had no trouble with the number one formula. As soon as we got to number two, though, the strong, unpleasant smell caught us off guard. Our child wouldn't drink it at all. We were afraid it would go bad, so I even tried some of it. The taste of iron was very strong. The whole can had to be thrown away in the end. We were really let down, especially since the first formula worked fine.
