Lost All Photos After iOS 18.1 Update. Not Hidden/Recently Deleted!

After updating my iPhone XS Max to iOS 18.1 today, I realized that all my photos have disappeared from the Photos app. They are not in “Hidden” or “Recently Deleted,” and I did not change any settings or delete anything manually. I only performed the iOS 18.1 update, and afterwards, I saw that more than three years’ worth of photos and data were gone. I had stopped backing up earlier, so these photos are not available to me through iCloud or any other backup. I have not yet contacted Apple Support or visited a store because I am extremely shocked and concerned that such a large amount of personal data can vanish just after a system update. I do not know whether more content is missing beyond my photos, which makes the situation even more worrying. I request urgent support from Apple to investigate this problem and to recover all of my missing photos and any other data that may have been lost due to the iOS 18.1 update. I also expect a clear explanation of how this could happen and what solutions will be offered so that this kind of data loss does not occur again.
