I recently applied for a credit card through the Akbank app after seeing a campaign that offered an interest-free cash advance of ₺25,000. This seemed like a great opportunity, so I went ahead and applied. My credit card arrived, but when I inquired about the cash advance, I was told they couldn’t provide the ₺25,000 without interest. If this was never available, why advertise it as a campaign to me in the app? It feels misleading and has left me regretting my decision to trust Akbank. I expected transparency and honesty, especially when it comes to financial services. This experience has really made me question their approach to customer service.
