Akbank Did Not Apply 9 Interest-Free Installments on My Education Expense
After receiving a message from Akbank offering "9 interest-free installments for educational expenses," I called the call center to confirm the campaign. I was assured that I could benefit from the campaign, and the call recordings are available for review. Trusting the message and the information provided, I made a total educational expense of ₺500,000. However, my expenses were not converted into installments. I contacted the call center to file a complaint, and I was informed that I met the campaign's conditions and that there seemed to be no issues. A record was created for further investigation. Despite following up every two days, no solution has been provided, and my statement is about to be issued, leaving me at risk of significant financial hardship. Akbank encourages its customers to make large expenditures with such campaigns but fails to resolve the resulting issues, causing unnecessary distress and neglecting their responsibility.
