Akbank Charged Me Twice for a Traffic Fine and Refused to Provide a Payment Receipt

I paid my traffic ticket, which was written to my license plate on 30.12.2024, via Akbank Mobile on 04.02.2025. When I checked my expenses, I noticed that the ticket was charged to my credit card twice. I called Akbank customer service for this duplicate collection. Akbank customer service said that they could not do anything about this and that I should apply to the tax office. I said that a payment receipt was required to request a refund from the tax office, but I could not see the receipt on the application. My customer service representative also said that the receipt could only be obtained at the time of payment. I also said that I already had the receipt for the payment I made consciously, but that the duplicate payment was not related to me, so it was not possible for me to obtain a receipt at the time of payment. The customer service representative agreed with me (there were milliseconds between the two payments), but unfortunately he said that he could not access the receipt. Instead, he gave me the provision number for both payments and said that I could request a refund from the tax office with it. In short, due to Akbank mobile application error, my traffic fine payment was collected twice and there is no receipt for the duplicate payment. From now on, I will never prefer Akbank for my bill and tax payments. In time, I will move my investments in this bank to a more reliable and solution-oriented bank.
