Unsafe Content on YouTube Kids Frightening My Child
I am highly concerned with the content my 3-year-old encounters on YouTube Kids. Despite my efforts to restrict certain channels, disturbing videos still show up, like "Elif Sinem TV" and "Kuzey Oyunda." These videos often feature aliens, monsters, and other content that frightens my child. I have enabled safe mode, yet such content appears, especially through Shorts, making me question YouTube Kids’ commitment to child-friendly programming.
It’s exhausting and frustrating to constantly monitor and hide inappropriate videos. I subscribed to YouTube Premium to ensure a quality experience, but the content that surfaces on a supposedly child-safe platform is disappointing. This isn’t just affecting my child—I’m sure many other families are dealing with similar issues. I urge YouTube to take immediate action and rigorously review what is allowed on YouTube Kids, as these popular yet unsuitable videos shouldn’t have a place here. Please prioritize the safety and well-being of young viewers instead of promoting unfit content.
