I am currently subscribed to Netflix’s single subscription plan, but since the day I signed up, I have been constantly exposed to excessive explicit scenes in nearly every movie and series. It has become very difficult to find content that I can watch comfortably with my family or children. This seriously affects both my viewing experience and my ability to enjoy Netflix as a family.
I am paying ₺190 per month, which is not a small amount, yet Netflix does not provide any real option to filter or skip unwanted scenes. I tried the parental control and content restriction settings, but all they do is require a code before starting certain titles. Once inside, there is no warning, skip button, or filtering option for explicit content.
Many users, including myself, simply do not want to watch +18 or sexual content, and Netflix should respect this preference by introducing scene-skipping or content filtering features. Right now, users are forced to sit through material they never agreed to see, which is both frustrating and unfair.
I am accessing Netflix from Manisa, Turkey, and I expect an urgent solution. If Netflix continues to ignore this issue, I will have no choice but to cancel my Netflix subscription.
