There are several ways to set up parental controls on Xfinity internet and restrict what your kids can see:

• You can access parental control settings on the Xfinity app or Admin Tool website, depending on your Wireless Gateway.

• The Xfinity app offers xFi Parental Controls for compatible xFi Gateways. This lets you block age-inappropriate content and limit network profile activity. You can also instantly pause WiFi or schedule device downtime.

• The Admin Tool at http://10.0.0.1 provides parental control settings for non-xFi Wireless Gateways. You can block websites, keywords, apps, and services here. You can also bypass parental controls with trusted devices.

• Log in to Admin Tool, go to Parental Control > Managed Services, and click Enable to block websites. You can block websites by URL or keywords from there. You can also list trusted computers with unrestricted internet access.

• The Admin Tool website lets you manage devices and limit internet access. This lets you add allowed devices, create device management rules, and set internet access time limits on selected computers.

It is advisable to verify the details from an alternate source, ideally from the service provider or the company directly.
