I Can’t Secure a Visa Appointment for My Son’s Aviation Training on VFS Global
My son is currently pursuing a degree in aviation at a university in Warsaw. The school is currently on break, however, he still has flight lessons that he must attend. These lessons have been quite expensive for us, and we've been tirelessly attempting to secure a visa appointment for the past month, around the clock, using three different accounts. We are constantly facing the issue of accounts being locked due to numerous unsuccessful attempts, yet we have been unable to secure an appointment. Every time we try to schedule an appointment, we're met with the frustrating message that there are no dates or locations available. What is the process for scheduling an appointment? We are experiencing significant setbacks in both our finances and time management. We have been corresponding with VFS via email, but they consistently advise us to handle the request through their system. Regrettably, all of our endeavors have proven fruitless. This appointment process has become quite overwhelming for us, both financially and emotionally. Students in training should not have to face such challenges.
Progress
For about 1.5 months, we have been checking the system every half hour for a student visa appointment from VFS Global Poland. Unfortunately, we have not found any visa appointments. For about a week, long-term and short-term Erasmus appointments have been open, but appointments for ongoing and newly starting students are still closed. Why are appointments not being opened for these categories? There is no demand for Erasmus appointments, so why are these appointments not being opened for these students? We are now reluctantly starting to suspect ill intent. Who will stand up for these students? Those who want to study at a university in Poland should think twice, in my opinion. This situation has turned into a torment for students and their families.
