Hi, I’d like to share a major technical issue I’ve been facing with Valorant following the latest update from Riot Games. While this isn’t written in anger, I’m extremely frustrated with the sudden and dramatic FPS drop I’ve been experiencing since the patch was released.
Before the update, my system consistently ran Valorant at 120–150 FPS, which was perfectly smooth for competitive gameplay. However, after the recent patch, my FPS plummeted to around 5, making the game nearly unplayable. I haven’t made any changes to my hardware or background software, so I’m convinced this issue is related to the most recent update.
I kindly urge Riot Games to urgently investigate and fix the performance issues introduced by the new patch. I expect an optimization or rollback so players can enjoy the game at the performance levels they had before the update. Please take this feedback seriously and release a fix as soon as possible.
