Another Valorant Player Copied My Riot ID and Is Impersonating Me

Approximately 10 minutes ago while playing Valorant, I encountered another player who was using exactly the same in-game name as mine and was actively impersonating me. I play on console, and the player in question was on the Türkiye servers using a Riot ID identical to my own. My Riot ID is Mvpgamee#7720.

When I asked this player why they were copying my name, they responded disrespectfully by saying, “Why do you care?” They then stated that they intended to troll other players while pretending to be me. Concerned by this behavior, I added the player as a close friend through PlayStation to investigate further and discovered that their PlayStation name was also identical to mine.

This individual is not only copying my in-game identity but is also attempting to act as if they are me when interacting with other players. Their behavior creates confusion among the community and has the potential to damage my reputation if they engage in toxic, disruptive, or inappropriate conduct while using my identity.

I have taken screenshots of both my own profile and the impersonating player's profile, which clearly demonstrate how closely the names match. I am prepared to provide these images as evidence if requested.

I respectfully request that Riot Games investigate this account thoroughly. If the review confirms that the player is intentionally impersonating me or violating Riot's policies regarding identity impersonation, I ask that appropriate action be taken. At a minimum, I request that the player be required to change their Riot ID so that my in-game identity is no longer being copied or misrepresented.

Being impersonated in-game and having another player deliberately pretend to be me is both frustrating and concerning. I hope Riot Games will review the matter promptly and take the necessary steps to prevent further misuse of my identity.
