Riot Games Should Take Stronger Action Against Voice Chat Toxicity
Today, while playing an unrated match in Valorant just to warm up, one of my teammates seriously disturbed me by making fun of my voice. The player repeatedly imitated everything I said, mocked the way I sounded, and also used insulting and harassing language throughout the match. Because of this behavior, all enjoyment I had from the game disappeared, and I no longer felt comfortable or safe while playing.
During the match, I reported the player through the in-game reporting system. The in-game name of the player I am referring to is “Masquarede09#TR1.” I do not want this kind of behavior to go unpunished.
I request that the player in question be thoroughly investigated and that the necessary penalties be applied. I also want Riot Games to implement stronger and more effective measures against harassment, mocking, and abusive behavior in voice chat to help create a safer gaming environment for players.
