Under Armour Run the Velocity T-Shirt Promise Not Honored
On 12.06.2026 I participated in the “Run the Velocity” running event in Athens, which is organized under the Under Armour brand. I registered online through the link shared on social media, where it was clearly stated that participants who register and join the run would receive a free T‑shirt. When I arrived at the event and asked for the T‑shirt, I was unexpectedly told that I had to have registered one week earlier in order to receive it. This condition was never mentioned on the online registration form or on the information I saw before the event. It was only communicated to me on the spot, which I find misleading and unfair, since the promise of a free T‑shirt was one of the reasons I registered and took part. I kindly request that Under Armour and the event organizers honor the original promise and provide me with the T‑shirt that was advertised for participants who registered and joined the run. I also ask that, in future events, any such conditions are clearly announced in advance so that participants know exactly what to expect.
