Sürat Kargo Not Delivering Packages - False Not Home Claims
I am writing to complain about the service I received from Sürat Kargo, Antalya Yeşilırmak branch, regarding shipment number 94247252121352. This is not the first time I have had problems with this branch. In total, similar issues have occurred twice, and I believe they have returned around four of my packages without making a proper delivery attempt. Both times, they claimed that I was not at home, which is not true. They never called me or tried to contact me, and instead of delivering my package, they sent it back. This time I managed to go to the branch before the package was returned. There I found out that their car was not working and that this was the real reason why they were not delivering, even though they recorded it as if I were not at home. At the branch, the driver showed me that the car would not start, and then he lay down to sleep on the desk instead of trying to solve the problem. They did not offer any help or alternative solution and showed no interest in taking my phone number in case of future problems. After a long discussion, I saw no other option but to carry the large, heavy package home on my own. I am 62 years old, I do not have a car, and I am not physically fit to carry heavy items, yet I was forced into this situation because they did not do their job. I am very disappointed with the indifference and lack of responsibility shown by this branch. I request appropriate compensation for the physical effort and inconvenience I had to endure, as well as a clear assurance that my future packages will be delivered properly to my address and that false “customer not at home” entries will not be used again. I also expect that the relevant staff and the branch will be warned so that other customers do not experience similar problems.
