Starshort Charges Unauthorized $8.99 Fees Following VIP Subscription Cancellation

I subscribed to the Starshort Weekly VIP plan through their website on 22/04/2026. I later cancelled this subscription in April 2026 via the website, and I clearly did not wish to continue using the service. Despite the cancellation, Starshort charged my bank card 8.99 USD on 09/08/2026. When I contacted them about this, they stated that it was a system glitch. However, the s e ount of 8.99 USD was charged again on 21/08/2026, even though my subscription had already been cancelled. In addition to disputing these unauthorized charges, I have repeatedly requested that my Starshort account be permanently deleted. I followed the instructions on their website and sent multiple emails with “account deletion” as the subject line from my registered email address, explicitly asking for my account to be deleted. Today I have already sent my fifth request, yet my account is still active and my deletion request is being ignored. My Starshort profile ID is 1255207829007. Im requesting that Starshort refund all amounts charged after my cancellation, including the payments on 09/08/2026 and 21/08/2026, immediately stop any future charges to my card, and permanently delete my account as I have repeatedly requested. I also have screenshots of my subscription records, profile details and payment confirmations, and I can provide these as supporting evidence if needed.
