Samsonite Returned My Backpack in Worse Condition After Repair
While my Samsonite 74775-1041 Light Laptop backpack was still under warranty, I took it to the Samsonite Sankopark store in Gaziantep on May 12, 2026, because of a minor zipper issue. The backpack was sent in for repair, and I was later notified by phone that the repair had been completed and that I could pick it up.
When I went to collect the backpack on July 4, 2026, I discovered that the original zipper problem had not been fixed. Even worse, every zipper on my previously usable backpack had been damaged, leaving it completely unusable. I asked the store to resolve the issue, but the employee repeatedly told me there was nothing they could do. I requested written confirmation stating that the backpack had not been repaired and had been returned in that condition, but my request was denied. I also asked for a screenshot of the service records shown in their computer system, and they refused to provide that as well.
I sent my backpack in under warranty to repair a minor zipper problem, but it was returned without being repaired and in much worse condition than when I handed it over. I am requesting that Samsonite resolve this issue by replacing my backpack, properly repairing it if possible, or issuing a full refund for the product.
