During a recent trip, both zippers of my Samsonite C-Lite suitcase broke. At the time, I was in Yalvaç, Isparta, and since there was no Samsonite store nearby, I had no choice but to get a temporary zipper repair to continue my journey.
After returning to my city, I delivered the suitcase to the Desa store at Samsun Piazza and requested that the original Samsonite zipper be installed again. My repair number is 533892. However, both the store and Desa customer service (contacted on 22.08.2025, with Ms. G**)** informed me that because the suitcase had already been repaired by a third party, they would not accept it for official service. Even when I stated that I was willing to pay for the repair, my request was rejected. I also asked to speak directly with the team that made this decision, but my request was denied.
Now, my suitcase’s locking system is unusable, which has increased my frustration. I have been a long-time Samsonite customer and this is the first time I’ve experienced such an issue. All I am asking for is a proper repair with original parts, even if it is a paid service.
My Request
That Samsonite reinstalls the original zipper on my C-Lite suitcase, under warranty if possible, or as a paid repair if required.
That customer service provide a clearer and fairer solution, instead of rejecting requests outright.
I kindly ask that my complaint be resolved so I can continue using my suitcase safely and without ongoing inconvenience.
