OFM Hospital ER Charged High Fees but Doctor Never Examined Me

On November 5, 2024, I went to the emergency department at OFM Hospital with symptoms of the flu and coughing. Aside from the very high fees they charge, you don’t even have the opportunity to properly speak with or be examined by a doctor. The doctor didn’t examine me at all. Only the nurses try to help. You can’t speak directly with the doctor—everything is communicated to the doctor through the nurses, and that’s how the process works.

I am a teacher, and I only asked for a one-day medical rest note, but I was told that this was not possible. Apparently, this is a very ethical hospital.
