I Can’t Find Ritalin in Pharmacies for 5 Months—Novartis Must Fix the Shortage Urgently
Dear Novartis and Respected Representatives,
I am a 47-year-old working professional living with ADHD. For the past five months, I have not been able to consistently find Ritalin at pharmacies. It’s either completely out of stock or available in such limited quantities that it’s impossible to obtain regularly.
This shortage is affecting not only me but also many others who depend on this medication to function in daily life. This month, I couldn't get the medication at all, and it has severely impacted my ability to focus—especially while working.
As someone who relies on Ritalin to stay balanced and productive, I urge Novartis to urgently resolve this supply issue. We, the patients, should not have to suffer due to continued unavailability of a critical treatment. Please take immediate action to restore consistent access to this essential medication.
Progress
Novartis and Ministry of Health I have advanced ADHD and I am tired of searching for Ritalin from pharmacy to pharmacy every month in Sakarya. Dear Novartis officials, please urgently supply the medication to pharmacies; not being able to get my medicine seriously affects my work life. I call the drug warehouses and they don’t have it either. I use 2 boxes of Ritalin and 2 boxes of Concerta. Please, I urgently request a solution.
