If Midjourney is charging unexpected tokens even for simple jobs;
• Check which model you’re using and switch to a lighter one if high quality isn’t necessary
• Avoid using high --quality, --stylize, or --chaos values, as these increase token usage
• Reduce image size and aspect ratio to the minimum needed for your task
• Limit the number of variations and upscales generated per prompt
• Reuse successful prompts instead of rerunning similar jobs multiple times
• Turn off Remix mode if you don’t actively need it
• Review your job history to identify which settings are consuming the most tokens
• Make sure you’re not accidentally running jobs in fast mode instead of relaxed mode
If the problem persists;
• File a complaint on Xolvie to report unexpected token consumption and pricing transparency issues
