LinkedIn Account Recovery Stuck Despite Repeated Identity Verification
My personal LinkedIn profile has been restricted for almost a year now after it was hacked, and despite following all the verification steps requested by LinkedIn, my access has not been restored. The email address linked to this restricted account is **isiaih60**@yahoo.com**. Each time I try to log in, I am asked to complete ID verification. I submit my ID as requested and receive a message that LinkedIn will get back to me within 48 hours, but I never receive any meaningful response or solution. Instead, I eventually received an email stating that, after reviewing my account again, LinkedIn found it does not comply with the Professional Community Policies or LinkedIn User Agreement and that access will remain restricted. This decision is extremely disappointing and unfair, because the behavior that caused the restriction was the result of my account being hacked, not my own actions. I have not violated LinkedIn’s rules, and I want my identity and account history to be taken into account rather than holding me responsible for what a hacker did. I request that LinkedIn properly re‑review my case, recognize that my account was compromised, and restore my personal profile access so that I can continue using my account. I also ask to be informed clearly what exactly is considered a violation in my case, and how LinkedIn determined that, given that I reported the hack and followed the requested verification steps.
