Since the day I purchased my LG 65SM8000PLA TV, the Wi-Fi and internet speed were initially fine. However, over time, the speed dropped significantly, first not exceeding 20 Mbps, and now it barely reaches 4 Mbps. This happens whether using Wi-Fi or a wired connection, and I have tested it on multiple networks and devices.
I tried every possible solution—resetting the TV, changing the IP address, adjusting the region settings, and even switching to a wired connection—but nothing worked. When I called LG customer service, they simply asked me if I had reset the TV, which is an insulting and unhelpful response. Now, they say a technician visit requires a fee, even though this is clearly a chronic issue with LG TVs, as confirmed by numerous online forums and YouTube videos.
To make things worse, the screen has also developed shadowing and backlight bleeding, even though I have used a protective screen since day one. LG, this is unacceptable! Stop making customers pay for known defects. I demand a proper fix or replacement at no extra cost! This is a manufacturing issue, not user error!
