Plastic Found in Knorr Soup Raises Food Safety Concerns
On September 18, 2026, while preparing Knorr Ezogelin Soup, which I have regularly used for years, I noticed a fairly large piece of plastic inside the soup. The piece was so large that if I had not noticed it, it could have become lodged in my throat and potentially caused a serious health problem or even a life-threatening situation. I have been safely consuming this brand’s soups for a long time, and this is the first time I have encountered such a dangerous issue.
I purchased the product as a single packet from Taso Market in Değirmendere, Kocaeli. The package lists an expiration date of March 25, 2028, and the lot number is 3693 1 y1. The plastic piece appeared after the package was opened and the soup was prepared, and from that moment on, I completely lost confidence in the product.
Because of the serious health risk I experienced, I request that the relevant lot number be urgently investigated, that the products from this batch be thoroughly inspected, and that all necessary measures be taken to prevent a similar incident from happening again. I also request a satisfactory explanation regarding this dangerous incident and appropriate follow-up to address the inconvenience and concern I have experienced.
