iPhone Music Sync Now Requires Apple Music Subscription – Frustrated with Forced Change

October 24, 2024 1:58 PM8

I used to be able to add music to iTunes, sync it with my iPhone, and listen offline without needing any subscription. However, since the latest iOS update, Apple now forces an Apple Music subscription for this basic feature. I'm frustrated that Apple is making a music subscription mandatory for something that used to be free and straightforward.

Even more frustrating, I can still listen to these same tracks on iTunes on my Windows computer, but they’re inaccessible on my iPhone unless I subscribe to Apple Music. Additionally, my previously saved playlists have been deleted without warning. This forced subscription requirement has made my music experience complicated and frustrating, and I urge Apple to address this unnecessary restriction.
