Instagram Seller Scammed Me While Selling a Valorant Account
On January 19, 2026, I agreed to purchase a Valorant account through an Instagram account named “asill.tr,” which has approximately 35,000 followers. For this transaction, I sent a payment of $16 to an IBAN registered under the name e* ş*** (TR08 0020 6002 *** 01). After I sent the payment, the seller demanded an additional $9, claiming it was required to transfer the account to me.
Because this extra payment requirement was never mentioned beforehand, I refused to send any additional money. Despite this, the seller did not deliver the account and did not provide any service in return for my payment. Since this Instagram account is misleading people and taking money in this way, I am requesting both a refund of my payment and an investigation into the account and the individual involved to prevent further deceptive practices.
