Instagram and Threads Accounts Disabled for No Reason
My Instagram and Threads accounts were disabled on 10 October around 17:00 with a notice stating that my profile violated the Community Standards on child sexual exploitation, abuse and nudity. I was shocked to see this, because my account is new and I had only just installed the Threads app. I had not posted any content, and I only opened the app once before the ban appeared. My username is @bryam.prz95. After seeing the message, I used the available appeal option to disagree with the decision, but my accounts are still disabled. Being linked to such a serious and sensitive violation is extremely distressing, especially when I have not shared any content at all that could justify this. I kindly request a thorough manual review of my Instagram and Threads accounts and of whatever automated systems flagged me, and that my access be restored if no actual violation is found. I also ask that any internal record falsely associating my profile with child sexual exploitation, abuse or nudity be removed, as this is a very serious allegation and does not reflect my actions or intentions.
