Who Is Hint And Why Are They Able To Take My Money On Cash App

I recently discovered that the “Hint” app has been charging my Cash App account without my knowledge or consent. I have never knowingly signed up for this app, do not know what the service is, and had never even heard of it before seeing these charges. Looking at my Cash App history, I can see three separate payments made to Hint via Cash App Pay: $0.50 on August 27, $34.99 on September 3, and another $34.99 on October 1. I work very hard just to break even, and it is extremely upsetting to realize that money has been taken from my account in this way without my authorization. As soon as I noticed the issue, I contacted Cash App support and blocked Hint to prevent any further payments. Despite this, I am still out the money that was already taken. I request a full refund of all three unauthorized Hint charges and a clear explanation of how this app was able to charge my Cash App account without my explicit permission. I also want to be sure that no future payments can be taken from my account by Hint or any related service.
