If you’re getting delayed location alerts from GeoZilla and want fixes that actually work;
Check your phone’s location settings;
• iPhone:
– Settings → Privacy → Location Services → On
– GeoZilla → Always + Precise Location
– Settings → General → Background App Refresh → On
• Android:
– Settings → Location → On → Mode/Advanced → High accuracy
– GeoZilla → Allow all the time
– Settings → Apps → GeoZilla → Battery → Unrestricted
Keep connectivity strong;
• Turn Wi-Fi + mobile data on (even if not connected)
• Good signal improves frequent fixes
• Move outdoors if GPS is weak
Disable power saving;
• Turn off system battery saver / low power mode
• Some phones throttle GPS in power saver
Enable frequent updates;
• In GeoZilla settings → Live tracking / Frequent updates (if available)
• Set shorter update intervals
Restart location services;
• Toggle Location OFF → ON
• Toggle Bluetooth (if used)
• Restart phone
Update app and OS;
• Update GeoZilla in App Store / Play Store
• Install the latest system updates
Check tracker/device status;
• Fully charge the tracked device
• Ensure tracker firmware is up to date
• Keep device out of pockets/bags for GPS
