If your DramaBox subscription auto-renewed without notice,
• Understand why it renewed;
– DramaBox subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled
– You must cancel before the billing date (usually ~24h prior)
• Cancel from the correct platform;
– iPhone → Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Cancel
– Android → Google Play → Payments & Subscriptions → Cancel
– PayPal → Automatic Payments → Cancel
– Canceling inside the app alone is not enough
• Confirm cancellation;
• Verify:
– Status shows “Canceled”
– You see an expiration date (not renewal)
– You received a confirmation email
– If not, billing will continue
• Important mistake to avoid;
– Deleting the app or account does NOT stop billing
• Stop future charges immediately;
– Contact your bank
– Block recurring payments / merchant authorization
• Request a refund;
– Apple → reportaproblem.apple.com
– Google Play → Order history → Request refund
• Contact support;
– Ask them to confirm full cancellation
• Write:
– “My subscription auto-renewed without my intention. Cancel it fully and confirm no further charges.”
If charges continue, dispute with your bank and file a complaint on Xolvie to push for resolution.
