DeviantArt Buyers Wanted NFTs But Never Paid for My Art

Originally a great venue for sharing work, DeviantArt seems to have evolved into a playground for frauds lately. Many so-called "buyers" have contacted me, posing as interested in my work, just to force me to create NFTs on dubious venues. Naturally, once I do, they vanish without paying. Some even try to persuade me to embrace a "digital check," who even does that in these days? They seem not even making effort to conceal the fraud. If you want to really sell your artwork, forget it even if browsing and interacting with other artists is still enjoyable. On DeviantArt today, there is no actual financial gain. It's beginning to resemble a phoney website more than a reputable artistic community.
