In September, I purchased a pair of Camper Peu Touring shoes in size 41 from their online store. Historically, I've comfortably worn size 41 shoes from various brands without any issues. However, when I tried these shoes at home for the first time, they felt tight. Hoping they'd loosen up, I wore them to work. Within two hours, I developed severe blisters on my tendons and the bones on the top of my foot. I struggled through the day with spare shoes and bandages. After ordering, the online system showed my order as canceled, stating they would send a different size, so I couldn't make any changes. Upon inspection by a cobbler, it was revealed the shoes were actually size 40. I contacted Camper to inquire about returns or if they could widen the shoes but received no response. As a last resort, I had a cobbler widen the shoes, but they experienced issues with stitching, the tendon area, and the sole. While I don't question the material quality, I was thoroughly disappointed as I expected comfort for the price. This is my first complaint about shoes, and I don't recommend choosing this brand. I want to emphasize that it's been five months since I bought these shoes, yet I haven't been able to use them, and I haven't been able to reach customer service.
