Bosch Vacuum Cleaner 10-Year Motor Warranty Rejection Dispute
In January 2026, I purchased a Bosch BGS41POW2 vacuum cleaner for 9,390 TRY via Hepsiburada, which advertised a 10-year motor warranty on the packaging. In July 2026, the appliance stopped working and was delivered to the Bosch authorized service center in Aydın on July 25–26. The service center attributed the motor breakdown to "user error," speculating that an object was ingested during normal household cleaning. However, they provided zero concrete evidence, photos, or specific identification of any foreign material.
The service center quoted a repair fee of 7,500 TRY—nearly the cost of a brand-new unit—for a product with a 10-year motor guarantee. I refused this charge and retrieved the unrepaired, unusable vacuum cleaner. I reject unsubstantiated claims of user error for normal domestic use on a new appliance. I demand a complete re-evaluation, cancellation of the 7,500 TRY repair fee, and a free repair under warranty or a full product replacement.
