If the number of people who see your Academia.edu page has gone down, you should add a professional photo, a detailed biography, your affiliations, and your research interests. You should also upload recent papers with correct tags.

This helps you show up in both Google results and Academia's own search engine.

Academia.edu has share tools that you can use to get your uploads seen by more people. You can also stay involved in feeds by following researchers and topics and commenting on other people's work. Analytics show that regular sharing and tagging lead to more trips to profiles.

You can get more information about who sees your profile and papers by paying for Academia Premium. This will help you improve how you show your work.

At the same time, add links to your Academia page from ORCID, Google Scholar, LinkedIn, or your own website to get more visitors from outside sources.

Do you have another way to solve it? We'd love to hear from you in the comments.
