Unauthorized Zara Purchase Charged to My Card Without Consent

On June 9, 2026, at 18:38, a transaction in the amount of ₺8,819 was made on my Denizbank Mastercard on the Zara website without my knowledge or authorization. I am a resident of Diyarbakır, Türkiye, and I was in Antalya on vacation at the time. The purchase was processed in Istanbul, so it was not physically possible for me to have carried out this transaction. I did not make or approve this payment in any way. After noticing the transaction, I immediately contacted Denizbank. The bank only blocked my card and did not initiate any chargeback or formal objection process for the ₺8,819 amount. I then contacted Zara about this unauthorized transaction via customer service, but I did not receive any clear information, support, or decision, and no effective investigation appears to have been conducted. I request that this unauthorized transaction be urgently and thoroughly investigated, that I be provided with all available information regarding the order placed through Zara’s website, and that the ₺8,819 charged to my Denizbank Mastercard be fully refunded. I also reserve the right to initiate all necessary legal and financial dispute procedures regarding this unauthorized transaction.
