I was banned from Valorant until 2026 for so-called “rank manipulation,” and I still have no idea why. I’ve never boosted my account or let anyone else play on it. I’m Bronze 3, one of the lowest ranks in the game. That alone should prove I haven’t done anything unfair to gain rank. Riot Support first replied saying I had "misused communication," then when I asked for clarification, they sent a link labeled “rank manipulation” that redirected to the League of Legends rules page—a completely different game! After that, I was told the matter was closed and that any further messages would be ignored.
I’m on summer break and just want to play Valorant. I’ve invested a lot of time and money into this game. The match where I got banned ended in a loss; I didn’t flame anyone. In fact, one of my teammates even sent me a friend request afterward. Riot didn’t provide any proper explanation, and the support replies feel copy-pasted and dismissive.
How is it fair that real cheaters and toxic players remain unbanned while I’m locked out for no reason? I’ve even stayed up until 3 a.m. just to see if a skin I wanted would show up in my shop. Riot, your support staff needs to do better. Reopen my case, review the evidence I provided, and lift this unfair ban before my summer break ends. I just want to enjoy the game like everyone else.
