Suno won't generate songs with my prompts, how can I improve results?

If Suno is struggling to generate songs from your prompts, make your instructions more specific about genre, mood, tempo, instruments, vocal style, and song structure.

Prompts such as "uplifting pop anthem with female vocals, 120 BPM, catchy chorus, acoustic guitar and synths" generally produce more consistent results than broad requests like "make a good pop song."

Avoid referencing copyrighted artists, songs, or lyrics directly, as Suno may restrict prompts that appear to imitate existing works.

Instead, describe the musical characteristics you want, such as vocal tone, energy level, instrumentation, and emotional atmosphere.

If generations are repeatedly failing, simplify the prompt and remove unusual formatting, excessive length, or conflicting instructions.

Breaking a complex idea into a few clear musical directions often improves output quality and reduces generation errors.
