I shared my location on MyFamio and now strangers keep appearing on my map, why is this happening?

If strangers keep appearing on your map after sharing your location on MyFamio, it may be related to privacy settings, public visibility, or unauthorized access to your account.

Check your location sharing settings;

• Open MyFamio settings
• Review:
– Who can see your location
– Connected family members or groups
– Public visibility options

• Disable sharing with unknown users immediately.

Remove suspicious users;

• Check all connected members on your map
• Remove anyone you do not recognize
• Leave unknown groups linked to your account

Secure your account;

• Change your password immediately
• Use a strong, unique password
• Log out of other active sessions if possible

Limit location permissions;

• On iPhone:
– Settings → Privacy → Location Services

• On Android:
– Settings → Apps → MyFamio → Permissions

• Change access to:
– “While Using the App”
– Approximate location only
