If Microsoft Copilot isn’t responding or shows errors, first check the Microsoft 365 Service Health dashboard to confirm there’s no outage, then sign out and back into your Microsoft account and restart the app (Word, Outlook, Teams, or Edge).
Make sure you’re using a licensed Microsoft 365 plan that includes Copilot and that your app is fully updated to the latest version.
If the issue continues, clear your browser cache (for web apps), disable conflicting add-ins, and verify that “Connected experiences” are enabled in your Privacy settings.
For work accounts, ask your IT admin to confirm Copilot is assigned to your license and not blocked by tenant policies or security restrictions.
